Alvin is currently spearheading the overall development and management of a Single Family Office with a spectrum of responsibilities spanning across strategic planning, investment management, business operations and philanthropy. He joins from Bank of Singapore where he was Executive Director, Head of Funds Due Diligence. At the bank, he led a team of product specialists in selecting, monitoring and recommending mutual funds and hedge funds on the bank’s global platform.

Earlier on, Alvin was Portfolio Manager at the Reserve Management Department, Monetary Authority of Singapore. He was responsible for evaluating and appointing asset managers for the externally managed portion of the Official Foreign Reserves of Singapore. He was actively involved in various aspects of external fund management (“EFM”) and has also shared the Authority’s experience in EFM with central banks and Sovereign Wealth Funds. Alvin began his career in public service with a stint at the Commercial Affairs Department, Singapore Police Force, as Senior Investigation Officer focusing on forensic accounting and analysis.

Alvin graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and holds a Master degree in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) charters, and earned the Certified Financial Technician (CFTe®) designation from the International Federation of Technical Analysts.

Mr. Ma has been involved in the wealth management & investment banking field for over 38 years. Mr. Ma received his Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Oklahoma State University, U.SA. He is a PRC Hong Kong citizen & married with 1 child.

Alvin Ma is now Managing Director & Partner {Responsible Officer (RO) of both Type 4 & 9 License under the Securities Futures Commission (SFC) in HK} of Axiom Investment Management Limited, asset protection and management advisory company opened in 1996 and licensed (ADC118) since 2004 under Type 4 Advising in Securities and 9 Asset Management Regulated Activity (RA) issued by the SFC in Hong Kong.

Before Axiom, Alvin was Senior Vice President & Head of Private Banking of East-West Bank in HK, responsible for HK, Macau & PRC wealth management business development & marketing.

Before East-West, Mr. Ma was Head of Private Banking, previously as Head of Emerging Wealth Private Banking {Executive Officer (EO) of Type 1, 4 & 9 License under the HK Monetary Authority (HKMA)}, EFG Bank in Hong Kong responsible for HK, Macau & PRC wealth management business development & marketing.

Before EFG, His last position was General Manager and Head of Private Banking (EO of both Type 1 & 4 License under the HKMA), China CITIC Bank International Limited (CNCBI) responsible for HK, Macau & PRC wealth management business development & marketing.  Mr. Ma started up and built from scratch; supervised, managed, and coached a group of Private Banking professionals inclusive of frontline and middle and back-office members.

Before joining CNCBI as Head of Private Banking, Mr. Ma was Senior Vice President, Private Banking, EFG Bank in Hong Kong responsible for HK, Macau & PRC wealth management business development & marketing.

Before EFG, Mr. Ma was Executive Director & Team Head, Private Banking, Credit Suisse in Hong Kong responsible for HK, Macau & PRC wealth management business development & marketing.

Before moving to Credit Suisse, Mr. Ma has been engaged as Executive Director & Desk Head, Wealth Management & Business Banking, UBS AG in Hong Kong responsible for HK, Macau & PRC wealth management business development & marketing.

Before UBS, Mr. Ma has worked as Regional Head, Investment Sales, North East Asia, Wealth Management, Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong & Regional Head, Treasury Advisory, Asia Pacific Region, Standard Chartered Grindlays International in Jersey, focusing on asset protection & management advisory, structured investor solutions, white-labeling of asset management advisory products. Mr. Ma has worked as Head, Corporate & Institutions Marketing, Greater China, Global Markets of the Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong responsible for exposure and asset management advisory for Hong Kong-based Network, Multinational, Institutions, and Local Corp. customers.

Before he engaged with Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Ma was Executive Director & Treasurer of Bayerische Vereinsbank A.G. Hong Kong. Mr. Ma has also worked for Citibank N.A. Hong Kong was Vice President and Head of Treasury Marketing Division and was responsible for marketing and arranging various interest rates, forex risk management, and investment products. Before Citibank, Mr. Ma was Derivative Products Marketer in Origination and Distribution Group, the First National Bank of Chicago, Hong Kong, and Dealer and Originator at Chase Manhattan Asia Ltd. Capital Markets Group. Mr. Ma had also worked in Deloitte Haskins & Sells and was Syndicated Loan Officer and Dealer at BA Asia Ltd. Capital Markets Group.

Mr. Ma is now an AIWM/ HKSI Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) Final Exam and CFA Institute Level 2 candidate. Mr. Ma is a licensed person registered under the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA)He has been successfully granted the Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP®) Certification under the Hong Kong Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA).  He is also a Certified Financial Management Planner (CFMPTM) & Certified AML Professional (CAMLP)  / Associate AML Professional (AAMLP) member under The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB).

Alexandra Tracy

Alexandra Boakes Tracy is President of Hoi Ping Ventures in Hong Kong, which she founded to provide research and consulting on green finance and sustainable investment in Asian emerging markets.

Alexandra began her career as an investment banker in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, and then ran a number of start up businesses, including a software company and a wealth management information business.  Following the sale of the latter, she was for several years Vice President – Strategy at First Eastern Investment Group, an independent private investment group in Hong Kong.

From 2013 to 2019, Alexandra was a member of the Listing Committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.  From 2016 to 2019, she also acted as the Active Private Sector Observer to the United Nations Green Climate Fund.  She is currently a director of the Climate Markets & Investment Association in the UK and a member of the Financial Services Business Council of the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.  She is also an Advisor to the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology’s Asian Family Business Research Centre, Friends of the Earth Hong Kong and the NDCI.org climate commitment community.

Alexandra was non executive Chairman of the Association for Sustainable & Responsible Investment in Asia for six years, stepping down in 2015, and was instrumental in establishing the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change during this period.  She sits on a number of corporate and non profit boards in Hong Kong, including Tom Hugh Limited, where she is non executive Chairman, and the Asia Pacific Investors Cooperation.

Alexandra speaks and writes regularly on sustainable finance, development and infrastructure issues.  She has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and MA degrees from Yale University and Cambridge University.

Alan Chan has over 20 years of experience in banking industry and currently Head of Investment in OCBC Wing Hang (“OCBCWH”). Alan joined OCBCWH in 2020 and is responsible for investment business under Retail Banking Group. Prior to joining OCBCWH, He worked in CCB Asia supervising investment and securities services. Alan holds a Bachelor degree in Mathematics for Commerce from the York University, Canada and is a licensed CFP and CRWP.

Agnes K Y Tai

Ms. Tai is a Director of Great Glory Investment Corporation, Senior Advisor of iPartners Holdings and Senior Partner of Yaozhi Asset Management International. She has 40 years of experience in in establishing and managing fund and risk management, direct investments, corporate strategy, risk management and sustainability. She has applied ESG criteria in investment approaches since 2007 and is a facilitator on ESG training programs. She is a board or advisory board member at various NGOs, foundations and industry associations.

She held senior positions at Bank of America, Citibank, Westpac, Peregrine Asset Management, Mingly Corporation, Shanghai AJ Trust, Booz & Co., Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong, and Bai Xian Asia Institute.

She has an MBA from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business in USA, a BSc (Honors) from Roosevelt University in USA, the Stanford University Senior Executive Leadership Program and the 2011 Stanford Directors’ College certificate.

Adeline Tan FIA

Wealth Business Leader, Hong Kong

Adeline is the Wealth Business Leader for Hong Kong. She joined Mercer in 2014, and have led the investment advisory business before her current role as the leader for the Wealth business, formed from the combination of the Retirement and Investment Consulting business of Mercer.

Adeline moved to Hong Kong after 10+ years of consulting experience with Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson), where she worked with large UK pension schemes on the funding and risk management of their liabilities, development of the whole fund solutions often described as OCIO solutions, and co-developed asset liability modelling tools.  She serves on client teams providing fund selection, portfolio construction, risk management and pension matters.  Her experience spans across public pension funds, corporate pension funds and commercial master trusts, and is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Adeline is a graduate of the Business School at the University of Warwick and is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries.
