BNY Mellon Global Funds PLC - BNY Mellon U.S. Municipal Infrastructure Debt Fund Accum X USD

The BNY Mellon U.S. Municipal Infrastructure Debt Fund is a highly-specialized fund that invests in municipal bonds and seeks to provide a high level of income consistent with capital preservation.

The Fund strictly adheres to its mandate to invest in U.S. municipal bonds with a diversified holding across different States and bond maturity.

The Manager articulated a disciplined and thorough investment and risk management process using a mixture of fundamental credit analysis and technical factors and overseen by the Investment Strategy Committee.

The investment strategy is structured and tailored for the specialized area of municipal bonds. It seeks to generate alpha from credit research on Revenue Based municipal bonds versus General Obligation municipal bonds by exploiting pricing inefficiencies with a tax-efficient, yield enhancement strategy.

The Fund detailed several initiatives regarding ESG and engagement, and the committee would like to see the team willing to disclose the results of stress testing.

This Fund has been reviewed by four industry veterans of the Benchmark judging committee.
