The Amundi HK Disruptive Opportunities Equity Fund has a distinctive investment thematic approach in global equities with a track record of outperforming its peers.

The investment theme of disruptive megatrends, including the digital economy, life science, and health, gives a clear anchor for long-term investing. A bottom-up, fundamental stock selection strategy was combined with a diversified portfolio of approximately 70 stocks, constructed to limit volatility and correlation levels.

The team's focus is to manage performance and risk exposure to the growth factor with a robust mid-cap bias. That said, we noted the Fund did have relatively high levels of volatility and associated large drawdowns despite its strong overall performance.

ESG is incorporated into the investment process, with seeming difficulties engaging with companies in China. A more comprehensive ESG and stewardship framework is planned going forwards.
