The Best-in-Class award for ESG Integration in Taiwan goes to the Amundi Actions France ISR Fund for its holistic ESG approach throughout its investment process.

The fund’s investment philosophy and purpose are directly linked to ESG, which states are required to achieve sustainable value creation over the long term or “responsible alpha” generation. Hence the Manager overweights each country and sector with companies with the best ESG ratings and financial profiles.

To obtain robust ESG data, Amundi has integrated multiple external providers on its ALTO platform across 8,000 issuers. Issuers are then reviewed and scored by Amundi’s 20 strong global ESG research team before further moving to fundamental review to get a final preferred ESG candidate list.

The committee also has given high marks for the level of engagement and reporting at the fund.

According to cited examples, the fund’s strong performance during the pandemic supports its core thesis that sustainable portfolios will be more resilient.

This fund has been reviewed by four industry veterans of the Benchmark judging committee.
