Jimmy Choong is a portfolio manager in the Multi-Asset & Wealth team within HSBC Asset Management in Hong Kong and has been working in the financial industry since 1999. Within the team, Jimmy is responsible for the management of a range of insurance, institutional and private client accounts. Prior to joining HSBC in November 2011, Jimmy worked as the Chief Investment Officer for Principal Asset Management in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for a range of MPF, ORSO and mutual fund products.

Jimmy holds a Master in Business (Banking & Finance), a Graduate Diploma in International Business (Finance) and a Bachelor in Engineering (Industrial & Computing) from Monash University in Australia, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia. Jimmy is a CFA charterholder and has completed the certificate in ESG investing.
