Ferdinand Cheuk is senior vice president, portfolio manager and research analyst in the Templeton Global Equity Group. He serves as the Deputy Director of Research and is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the Templeton Select APAC Equity Income Fund, a number of HK/China mandates as well as the co-Lead Manager of the group's Japan Fund.

Additionally, he is a member of the Global Leaders Investment Team and the Global Technology Sector Team and has more than 20 years of experience covering Asia Pacific technology companies. Prior to joining Templeton in 2016, Mr. Cheuk was a senior investment analyst with HSBC Global Asset Management in Hong Kong where he also managed regional and country portfolios. He entered the financial industry in 1996 having worked at JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch and the Capital Group.

Mr. Cheuk holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Kellogg-HKUST. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
