Zhikai Chen is Head of Asia / Global Emerging Market (EM) Equities and responsible for further strengthening BNPP AM's regional franchise in this asset class; with the aim of generating strong, sustainable investment performance for clients in the region. He currently leads the ten-member Asia/Global EM equities investment team based out of Hong Kong, Malaysia and Boston. Zhikai is armed with more than 23 years of experience in the financial industry.

He brings a wealth of experience, from the Monetary Authority of Singapore to Putnam Investments, with a focus on Emerging and Asia ex-Japan. Prior to BNPP AM, Zhikai oversaw the Asia ex-Japan Equities team for Lombard Odier since 2012. He graduated from the University of Michigan in the USA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and the National University of Singapore (Master of Social Science, Applied Economics). He is a CFA® charterholder and a member of the New York Chartered Financial Analyst society.
